The Story Behind the In(ner) Bloom Candle Collection

If you know me, you know I’m absolutely obsessed with candles, flowers, and crystals—they fill every corner of my home, adding warmth, personality, and an energy that transforms a space into a sanctuary. There’s something truly magical about the way these elements come together, each carrying symbolism, history, and intention.

Being first-generation Iranian-American, my love for meaningful traditions runs deep. My favorite holiday, then and now, is Nowruz—the Persian New Year, celebrated on the first day of Spring. Nowruz represents renewal, fresh beginnings, and the beauty of blooming after a long winter—a theme that has always resonated with me, both in life and in my art. A key part of Nowruz celebrations is the Haftseen table, a display of seven symbolic items that start with the letter “Seen” in Farsi. One of these items is a candle, representing enlightenment—a guiding light into the new season ahead.

This year, my son and I had the idea to make our own candles for our Haftseen table, a way to set our intentions for the new year. It became more than just a craft—it was a deeply personal and creative journey, where I explored the spiritual meanings of flowers and crystals, understanding how their energy could help manifest the intentions we set. This process of research and creation left me feeling deeply inspired and aligned—just as I do when I paint on canvas.

From this passion project, the In(ner) Bloom Collection was born.

Each candle in this collection is infused with intention, creativity, and meaning. The florals and crystals are carefully chosen to support different manifestations—whether it's prosperity, confidence, balance, or renewal. These candles are more than just decor; they are tools for transformation, meant to ignite something within you and help guide you toward your dreams.

I chose to price each candle at $33.33 as a tribute to angel number 333, a powerful symbol of intuition, creativity, and alignment with the universe. This number reminds us that we are supported in our journey, that growth comes when we trust ourselves, and that abundance flows when we embrace our true path. Every time you light one of these candles, I hope it serves as a reminder to trust your instincts, nurture your inner bloom, and step into your full potential.
